MEDICAL TOURISM
COORDINATING
Your coordinator will support you at all times, from choosing the date of your surgery to the moment you return home.
TRANSPORTATION
We recommend:
You arrive at the San Diego Airport or Tijuana Airport before noon.
Check the weather and travel light; a wheeled carry-on and one luggage may be sufficient for what you need during your stay.
Bring one supportive companion.
ARRIVAL
After a one and half hour drive, you’ll arrive at the hospital.

Once you arrival to the facility our staff will guide you thru filling out some paper work.

Once done you will be taken to your private room with your guest.
​
Then you will get prepared to get lab work done.
​
Dr. Garcia and the anesthesiologist will have a private consultation with you.
Then you will be on your way for surgery.
POST OPERATIVE CARE
After bariatric surgery you may feel a little sore and tiered but do not worry our team will take care our you our nurses will make sure you have everything you need.
We will be monitoring you after surgery to insure you are perfect to come home.
BOARDER CROSSING
Once released form surgery we will provide you with your postoperative packet with all the information you need to be on your way.

Your return flight must be in the afternoon.

*Passport will be recommended but not required if you don't have one just bring your state id and certified birth certificate.
Then you will be on your way!
HOME
Once home we will contact you to ensure you got home safety and we will provide you with our contact information and care in case you need us. We will also provide you with the nutricionist number and information as well as a psychologist in case you need anything.
We will check in Every day for 10 days.
